2.4.1, released October 27, 2026
UI scale in Settings → Display adjusts window and widget text and spacing. Terminal font size and input font size have separate controls.
Inventory, equipment, crafting, shop, bank, journal and Auction House windows share readable text sizes and spacing. Detached windows and their title controls follow scale changes immediately.
Group messages appear in the Chat widget for both the sender and recipients. Existing saved sessions include the Group channel, and channel filters remain configurable.
Group actions address the selected companion even when several pets, corpse servants or mercenaries share a name.
Inventory window actions preserve AFK status.
Local session logs include game-state updates and automation output. Scripts can record structured diagnostics with de.log(topic, data).
2.4, released October 17, 2026
The Auction House toolbar button uses a full-size scales icon that matches the other buttons on desktop and web.
2.3.5, released October 17, 2026
The inventory window has a Materials tab for the crafting bag. Raw and refined supplies, herbs, reagents and other crafting materials enter it automatically and take no carry weight or inventory slots. They stay through death.
Select a material, quantity and player in the room to trade directly from the bag. You can also select a material to list on the auction house.
The Auction House tab groups identical goods across sellers, shows quantities and recent prices, and buys the cheapest available quantity with a maximum-total check.
List inventory items and materials, cancel personal listings and collect proceeds and returned goods. Auction trading is available in city wards, safe rooms, auction rooms and the Nexus. Browse from anywhere.
Keep the auction tab in Inventory or detach it. Open it from the toolbar, a configured hotkey or the desktop Tools menu. Both new views fit smaller screens.
Auction listings, unclaimed proceeds and returned items follow character renames.
Magical ink uses the crafting-area black ink. Existing supplies and merchant stock are converted with the game patch.
The revised Fire, Water, Wind and Earth planes launch with deliberately severe tuning for coordinated groups of four to six players. Personal assignments require players rather than companions, and lethal failures have clear warnings.
Water shelter portals let players keep attacking the same boss from a refuge during a dangerous wave. Wind encounters include personal anchors and a pursuit through multiple rooms.
Elemental curses require Remove Curse: Fire blocks healing, Earth weakens defenses, Water inflicts recurring cold damage and Wind slows attacks and casting. Cleansing potions and unbinding scripts also remove them.
High-level healing potions restore fixed amounts of health. Healing through level 50 stays the same, with a gradual transition at higher levels. High-level healing scrolls share the healing-potion cooldown.
Equipment grants larger health bonuses, and companion damage and support generate less threat at higher levels.
The two-minute instance re-entry delay persists through logging out.
Flee disengages through an available exit without XP loss. Retreat and rear disengage only the user. Movement within active plane encounters supports their room mechanics.
Players following one another in the same room share NPC aggro. Rapid movement cannot provide aggression immunity.
Group mission followers share the original request cooldown, and completing a mission does not restart an expired cooldown.
The socials list hides names used by commands available to your character. Fly works as an alias for Levitation in maintained buffs.
Newly captured companions use the same level and stat scaling as dismissed and resummoned companions.
The elemental guides have distinct names and voices. Their staging areas include field notes, shelters and clearer route warnings. Rare environmental events and creature behaviour add atmosphere between fights, with arrival and departure text suited to each plane.
2.3.4, released October 14, 2026
Crafting qualities are Common, Fine and Masterwork, with white, cyan and orange labels. Each quality has its own actual item preview, and the quality odds come directly from the game alongside the separate success chance.
Leather armor stats follow the actual base material you choose. Pick your ingredients in the bench instead of choosing a separate cut.
Auto craft keeps your selected base, supplementary materials, crystals and gems. It uses the best ingredients for empty picks, then keeps those choices through the batch and stops when they run out.
Consumables show Common, Fine and Masterwork yields of one, two and three identical items at fixed recipe power. Their three-vessel or parchment reserve and ingredient quantities remain visible.
2.3.3, released October 14, 2026
Crafting uses Common, Fine and Superior. Each quality has its own actual item preview, and success chance appears separately from the quality odds after a successful craft.
Potions and scrolls show fixed recipe power, required level and ingredient quantities. Common makes one, Fine makes two and Superior makes three identical items; failure makes none. Have three vessels or parchments ready, with one consumed per result and one on failure.
Leather recipes offer Agile, Stout and Mystic cuts for DEX/AGI, STR/CON or INT/WIS. Your chosen cut also carries through Auto craft.
Browse the full medium armor line, and see the stats added by each material in the gear preview.
Resize docked widgets directly without opening Arrange. Drag a prompt bar or vitals handle to adjust its width.
The desktop inventory window opens wider to fit the explorer, item details and shop or bank beside them. The bag list starts narrower so the other panes have more room.
The shop shows faction standing requirements and a keeper's shelf where you can buy back items you sold for exactly what you were paid. Each shelf item shows how much time is left.
2.3.2, released October 8, 2026
Hover any buff, debuff, cooldown or queued ability for its details: what it does, who cast it and how long is left. Click to pin the card. A pinned card offers Describe and, where the game allows it, Remove.
Afflictions are marked in the Effects widget. Combo, Tempo, Openings and your stance counters read as counts, and Frost sits with the debuffs.
Effect names in the terminal are links. The affects list, a Spell, Stacks or Shield line and help topics all open the same details.
Hovering a queued cast or ability shows what it will do before it fires.
Sort your saved sessions by name or by last used, or drag them into your own order. Web and desktop.
The crafting bench marks the first crystal as a required pick, since the game no longer finishes a piece without one.
2.3.1, released October 7, 2026
Identical items now arrive from the game as one stack with a count. Inventory rows, bag totals and the bank show how many copies a stack holds.
Selling from the sell box counts every copy in a stack.
Scripts get more time per call, so automation stops timing out on very large inventories.
Fixed an item disappearing from the inventory window when it left and came back in the same update.
The client stays quick with very large inventories. Thousands of items no longer slow down the game or your computer.
Picking up, filing, crafting or moving one item now updates just that item. The rest of your inventory is left alone.
The bank list in the inventory window only draws the rows you can see, and it skips work entirely while its tab is closed.
A closed inventory window no longer redraws in the background. It catches up when you open it.
Scripts get only the items that changed, so automation keeps up with big inventories too.
The crafting recipe list keeps its place when you pick a recipe further down instead of jumping back to the top.
The crafting preview is now one stat sheet that looks like identify, with each stat shown as a range from crude to masterwork.
Under the stats it lists what the crystals you picked add to that item.
A Compare button on the preview shows the difference against what you are wearing. It is off to start with.
Crafting from the window is quiet in the terminal. You see the result and any skill gain.
The workshop note shows the right bonus: 10% to success and 5% to quality.
Best materials on the crafting bench picks a base you hold plenty of, the highest grade crystal the recipe can take and the best gems. Change the crystal afterwards if you want a different element.
Auto craft makes several of the same recipe. Set how many and confirm in the box that opens. The number is limited by what you hold.
Auto craft works for potions and scrolls too.
Auto craft waits for the game to finish each one before starting the next, shows how many are left and has a Stop button.
Fixed the bench offering base materials of a higher tier than the recipe takes, which made the craft fail.

The crafting window groups gear recipes by slot. Pick a slot from the list at the top to see only that slot, or leave it on All slots.
Recipes in a slot are listed in level order, and each row shows the level of the item it makes next to the rank it needs.
The preview shows the item's required level and the item level range you can get by quality. Quality raises item level and never the level you need to wear it.
Recipes show the exact material tier they take.
The crafting window no longer asks for a workshop. A workshop gives a bonus and the window says so when you are in one.
Released October 4, 2026
The client downloads one item catalog when you log in and keeps it. Item names, tooltips and identify details show at once, and the inventory and shop windows load faster.
The connection to the game is compressed, so the game sends much less data.
Exits and keywords in room descriptions are clickable. Player names open a menu, and clicking a channel sender lets you reply. Names in who and topics in help are links.
Shop rows in list and sell list open a menu with buy or sell choices. Clicking a row never buys or sells by itself.
A new setting turns interactive text in the terminal off.
Item tooltips open on mouse hover only, so tapping on a touch screen no longer opens them.
The quest journal shows every step of a quest and which one you are on.
Quest key items have their own list and no longer take up space in your bags.
The target panel shows your focus and their health, with a button to clear it.
Right click one of your own effects and pick Remove to end it early.
Junk, unjunk and lock work on items inside bags without pulling them out first.
Items in your inventory, equipment, containers, corpses and the room show a tooltip when you hover over them in the terminal. Click one for a menu to get, identify, wear, drop or remove it.
Identify works on items inside open containers and corpses without taking them out.
The interactive text setting has its own switch for each kind of link: names, exits and room keywords, channels, help topics, shop rows and item tooltips.
Released October 1, 2026
New Inventory window with explorer and list views, filters, sorting, stacking and drag and drop between bags, the floor and your gear. Right click any item to equip, junk, lock, identify and more.
New Equipment window showing every slot, your average item level and your gear score. Hover any item to see its full identify.
New Shop and Bank windows for the gold only economy. Click a shop item to see its stats and buy or sell any quantity. The shop shows how much the keeper can still pay you, and the bank handles gold, clan deposits and item storage.
New Crafting window that drives every craft: pick a recipe, add materials, choose a design and confirm.
Shop, Bank, Equipment and Crafting can sit as panes inside the Inventory window or pop out into their own windows and widgets.
Mark items as junk and sell them all in one click. Locked items show a lock icon and are safe from drop, sell and junk commands.
The game's reply to anything you do in a tool window now appears inside that window, so a failed purchase is never silent.
Escape closes the tool window you are using. Windows set to stay on top ignore it, and you can turn it off in Options. Popped out windows now start without stay on top, so turn it on for the ones you want floating. A new option lets typing inventory open the Inventory window, just like typing list can open the Shop. Both of those are off unless you turn them on.
Shopkeepers and bankers are tagged in the room panel. Right click anyone in the room, or click a name in the terminal, for Look, Consider, Greet, Shop, Bank and Kill.
A shop option hides the list text in the terminal when typing list opens the Shop window.
Open more than one Widgets window. Use New widgets window in a Widgets window's toolbar, then move widgets into it with its picker. Each window can be docked as a tab beside your character or grouped with other windows, like any pop out.
Item tooltips stay fully on screen, including inside popped out windows, and long item descriptions are no longer cut off. A new option in Options anchors the tooltip to a corner of the window instead of following the mouse.
If a shop fails to load in the Shop pane, the pane now tells you why.
Released September 28, 2026
Patched Show Widgets window so it opens a widget picker even before any widgets are detached, and restores minimized windows or selects grouped widget tabs.
Fixed world map level selectors staying open and restored consistent mouse-wheel zoom. Drag, horizontal scroll, or Shift-scroll to pan.
Widgets inside detached windows can be freely dragged and resized. Positions and sizes save per character independently of the main client layout.
Guided scripts support Wait actions between commands. Repeating delayed sequences skip overlapping runs and cancel pending steps on disconnect.
Cooldown echoes support optional background colors, with defaults and per-skill overrides.
Customize the terminal palette in Options, including a preset to brighten dark colors.
Enable the Who widget in Arrange Widgets to refresh and filter the public player roster. The existing Server Info chat filter is now easier to identify.
Add descriptive alias names and filter aliases and triggers by folders and subfolders.
Known quest numbers link to their journal entries. The journal also displays and searches quest IDs.
Up and Down search command history by the text you have started typing. Command separator settings accept up to eight characters and preserve choices such as double semicolons.
Released September 26, 2026
Settings, aliases and triggers save as you edit. Script drafts survive closing the client without running unfinished code.
Saved sessions keep separate settings. Storage failures and conflicting browser tabs are reported, and the previous saved copy can recover damaged settings.
Options includes a manual save, settings export, and browser storage protection where supported. Private browsing and clearing site data can still remove saved settings.
Import from Mudlet using a popup of detected desktop profiles, a chosen Mudlet folder, or your own XML/.mpackage file. No separate export is needed for an existing saved profile. Review the conversion report and optional supported preferences before installation.
Supported triggers, exact aliases, repeating timers, basic variables and simple send/echo scripts are converted. Imported automation starts disabled; unsupported entries retain their original XML for manual conversion.
Released September 25, 2026
Click group members or pets to use an available targeted heal. The default prefers minor healing, with pet-specific healing when applicable. Customize the linked command in group settings.
Prompt and target bars update immediately, with improved settings controls and detachable target debuffs.
World and area maps load more reliably, share cached data, and handle reconnects and larger maps more smoothly.
Mail gains more reliable local storage, previews, and per-session behavior. Chat, history, and tab controls receive further fixes.
Scripting and imported packages handle settings, variables, item lookups, and session boundaries more reliably.
Desktop connections, reconnect handling, logging, and saved settings receive reliability fixes. Downloads now use the dedicated download server.
Released September 10, 2026
Choose a Modern layout with a pinned prompt and target bar, or Classic with those details in the scrolling text. A short toolbar tour introduces the Atlas, Mail, Items, Quest Journal, and client menu.
The World Atlas joins mapped areas on one grid, with zoom, level selection, room details, and travel controls. The World Map loads in one request on updated servers and reuses its local snapshot when the server confirms it is unchanged.
Mail includes a send preview, autoformat, spellcheck, and local message copies kept separately for each server and character. New mail downloads after login on updated servers. Choose 30 days, 90 days, one year, or unlimited local retention; removing a local copy does not delete server mail.
The faster World Map and automatic mail downloads require the matching game server update and a server restart. Until then, the client uses the existing map and mail commands.
Options is organized into General, Display, Buttons, and Keybinds. Export and import settings, scripts, keybinds, and layouts without replacing imported script variables with another character's values.
Panels and unread mail counts follow the active character tab. Open character profiles cannot be deleted while another tab is using them, and tabs support keyboard navigation.
Scrollback holds your reading position as output arrives. Scrolling the lower live pane moves the history above it, and large desktop logs continue loading beyond 8 MiB.
Terminal output preserves accented text and punctuation. Native-menu Disconnect works reliably, and target-display preferences work over direct connections.
Desktop logging respects unlimited retention and handles write failures without interrupting the game. Lua item lookups work in desktop builds.
Script widgets start hidden until you choose to show them. Updating a script package keeps the replaced version available without forcing a save dialog, and the pinned target bar has an adjustable width.
Released August 16, 2026
Connections now recover reliably after a network drop. Reconnect performs a hard reconnect, stale sockets are replaced, and disconnect state is reported consistently.
Scrollback now behaves like a traditional MUD client: scrolling up freezes a split view behind a separator, returning to the bottom closes it, and ordinary mouse movement no longer opens it accidentally.
Terminal output wraps around solid panels and widgets, with configurable width. The target bar can match the prompt bar, show traditional target-condition text and percentage, and place enemy debuffs in a detachable widget.
Effects, cooldowns, room output and prompt replacement remain synchronized during fast GMCP updates and heavy scripting. Input stays responsive while Lua automation is active.
Scripts in separate character sessions can communicate locally through de.publish and de.on_message, without sending messages to the game server.
Added a scrollable command-history window, improved prompt-gag persistence, and removed the stray inactive cursor box.
The Connection menu now uses New Session and Reconnect. The World Atlas remains disabled until 2.1.
Released August 5, 2026
Script packages are proper installs now. Importing one shows what it is and what it contains, then one click on Install turns on exactly what the author shipped enabled. Done, no Save step, no flipping switches one by one.
Installing a newer copy of a package replaces the old one cleanly. Anything the new version removed goes away and your saved variable values stay untouched.
New Packages list at the top of the All tab. Each package shows its contents with one toggle to switch the whole thing on or off and a one click Uninstall.
The score widget is back to the classic two column layout. Pick which fields show, reorder them with the new arrows in its settings, and the top half of your list forms the left column. Fresh installs default to Level, Race and Class beside Gold, Exp and Mastery.
Default font size is now 14 for new installs. Your saved size stays as is.
Released August 4, 2026
Chat window now always follows the newest messages, only pausing when you scroll up to read history, and its scrollbar is a subtle outline.
Chat channel colors now match the main terminal output, including Clan and Champion channels.
Fixed garbled, narrow-wrapped output on background tabs after switching tabs.
The sign-in screen no longer retries the connection on every keystroke; press Enter or click to reconnect.
Layout mode: new button to send a docked widget to the opposite rail, and a cancelled resize drag no longer saves a half-finished size.
New lock button on the chat window caps its height at the current size so it can't grow past that point.
Released August 3, 2026
Fixed large server-data messages occasionally appearing as raw text in the Windows client after login or reboot.
Fixed the mapper losing the player's correct location after idling in the void.
Improved map recovery and automatic area-map loading after disconnecting or reconnecting.
Added additional safeguards to prevent temporary server rooms from altering or remapping the player's area map.
